One of my most recent paintings is in the “MIRRORS” exhibition at Pajaro Valley Arts, in Watsonville. Show dates are June 19th to July 28, with an Artists Reception on June 23rd from 2 to 4 PM. Come out and meet the artists!
“MIRRORS” is an exhibition of work by PVA artist members, most of whom live and work in the Monterey Bay Area. Every artist member show has a different theme, and it’s always a different group of artists and works. If you haven’t been to PVA, this is a nice opportunity to see the work of a wide range of local artists, while getting acquainted with the gallery. Pajaro Valley Arts is a local nonprofit working in the areas of arts, education, civic engagement and inclusiveness.

If you haven’t been to Sierra Azul Nursery, you’ve been missing out. If you haven’t gone out to see the Sculpture Is installation, presented by Pajaro Valley Arts, you still have a while to catch it, but you’re not going to miss it.
“Sculpture Is” is an annual juried exhibition of work by artists, most of whom live and work in the Monterey Bay Area. Every year it’s a different group of artists and works, and every year it is a visual delight. The grounds at Sierra Azul elevate the exhibit to a sensual delight (visual, scent, light breezes, heat waves, taste–if you take a picnic or go to the opening reception, some of the pieces even generate sound).
